When you think of “France" you think of many things “William the conqueror,” the “D-day” landings, “Mont-St-Michel,” lots of Chateaux’s, “Monet’s” home in “Giverny.” We saw a lot of beautiful countryside. The best thing we decided to do was rent a car and drive. We have seen so much of the countryside and can stop whenever we want. It has been so much fun; especially together. We stopped and ate lunch on a picnic bench at a rest stop. We ate our bread, ham and cheese. Rick Steve’s would be so proud of us ha! (He is a tour guide on the travel channel.) We’ve seen a ton of people all over Europe with his guide books!
